About the Lupus & You Empowerment Conference
The Lupus Foundation of America’s Lupus & You: Washington DC Empowerment Conference is an in-person event that celebrates, inspires, supports, and uplifts lupus warriors, care partners, family, and friends. The event is designed to empower attendees through expert-led sessions that will help them better navigate a life with lupus and make meaningful connections with other attendees that will last far beyond the day’s event.
Join us on June 7th, as we gather in Washington, DC for amazing educational presentations from local rheumatologists , subject matter experts, and amazing local lupus warriors and caregivers.
When: Saturday, June 7th from 8:30am - 12:30pm

Please arrive at 8:30am for a complimentary light breakfast and refreshments before the program begins at 9:00am.
Plan ahead for a smooth morning!
Building entrance: The best entrance for the Science and Engineering Hall is at the 22nd St entrance at the door closest to I (eye) street. You will see signage for the event.
Transportation: The venue is metro accessible! The closest station is Foggy Bottom on the Orange, Silver, and Blue line.
Parking: Please plan ahead for a successful and easy morning! Street parking is an option, but there are many parking garages available and open in DC ranging in proximity and price. See a list of garages close by the Science and Engineering Hall, here. There is a parking garage in the Science and Engineering Hall where the event is taking place. You can search for other garages here. The LFA or GWU will not be validating any parking – thank you for understanding.
